As some of you may know, I do a little radio show here in the Washington DC area known as the Big O and Dukes show. We could be given the boot at any moment, but for now it’s a pretty plush gig. Never in my wildest dreams did I believe that this particular radio show would ever be cartoon worthy. I knew we were good, but ANIMATION GOOD? Make sure you give this thing a good rating, because it’s just about the most humbling slice of heaven I have ever happened upon. My favorite part is the audible slurp out of the double gulp that I had that day. For another great animation based another great radio show click here.
Let’s be honest. This site isn’t going to get any bigger without a great deal of help. Lots of readers take it upon themselves to help spread the word by getting our interviews out to the rest of the interweb. For that I am very appreciative. There are some nut jobs that take it upon themselves to take it a step further. Creepy Justin (pictued right in The Fukerton shirt with Dana White) has done more for this site than I have. He has always helped book some great interviews (Dan Henderson comes to mind) but this is even a step further.
Creepy drove down to Fort Bragg for the media day that took place the the day before “Fight for the Troops.” During that time, he got site ID’s from multiple UFC fighters. He also got Dana White’s email, and got him on the phone to let this blogger shoot the shit with the most powerful man in mixed martial arts. I’m not saying that all of you should do what he did…well yes, I am saying that actually. Point being that it does not go unnoticed when some does something to help spread the word on this site which I work very hard on. If you’re going to be some place cool, why not wear a Fukerton shirt? If you like an interview, put it in a message boardand if you’re going to kidnap Shawn Johnson, why not put her in a dufflebag and drop her off in front of my apartment? Peep the sweet vids below. The quality of the Dana one is rough, but it’s still pretty damn cool.
I find this hilarious. I was born 65 years too late. If you were allowed to shoot at your wife with a rife back during the depression, then meet me at the graveyard with a shovel cause I’m digging up FDR. Check out this hilarious description of the above epic:
Husband tests bullet proof glass with his wife. Shot in the early thirties, a man with a rifle tests an early version of bullet proof glass by having his wife hold the glass to her face while he shoots at her.
The song stinks and all the people in the video are creepy. Other than that this is a pretty sweet concept. A minigun that shoots hundreds of rubberbands. I could threaten dozens of grade schoolers with this thing. Not that I spend time in grade schools.
The only thing better than broads falling down is fat middle aged broads falling down. Some of them wiping out toddlers in the process. Don’t take my word for it. Get ready to ROTFLMAOSUCKMYHOG. Click and enjoy.
Leave it to an ESPN anchor to look unprepared and misinformed in an interview that I would kill to have. Dana White in person. So, Michael Kim, the biggest fight in UFC history is days away, and you spend half your time with White talking about Kimbo Slice? Kimbo slice who got knocked the fuck out? Kimbo Slice that has no job? I love Slice, but what the SHIT does he have to do with Brock Lesnar taking on Randy Couture? Way to bring up UFC 100, btw. The UFC has 3 mega fights coming up including GSP vs Penn, but you bring up a PPV that’s months away.
Kudos to Mr. President for saying that Kimbo on the cover of ESPN the Magazine made him ill. Saying that on ESPN proves he’s not going to kowtow to this network for media coverage. Shame on ESPN for sticking a huge interview on ESPN 2 on a limp dick show like First Take that no one watches. This should have been on the 6pm Sportscenter at the very least. If White is willing to give them studio time, why is not on Rome is Burning, PTI and Sportscenter?
Something to watch for in the interview? Wait for Kim to look towards the camera awkwardly with one minute left in the interview because he’s got NOTHING. In two interviews with people involved with this fight, ESPN has broght up steriods twice. Know why? They don’t know shit about shit in regards to MMA. Worse yet they don’t bother to find out. Something else to watch for? Dana White saying that even Vince Mcmahon is going to order this fight on pay per view. Epic.
“I’ll see peace back on earth if I got to murder all of these animals with my own bare hands.”
Might be the greatest quote ever. Might be. I have a lot of issues with with way EA goes about their business. One of the best stories of last year was 2k fending off EA’s advances and making half a billion dollars off of GTA IV. That being said, this game is going to have to fall REALLY short to not be amazing. I don’t know how I’m going to find the time to play it with all the Locusts I’m pounding out, but I’ll make time.
Look, grab ahold of something will ya? I don’t want this video to be the reason you slip and bust your head open. I don’t think it’s possible to oversell this one. Just thank me when all of you use this as a myspace bulliten, because your life is about to change. Laugh Balls.
Amir was the winner of The Ultimate Fighter Season 7. He is a laid back dude and a class act. The Fukerton catches up with Amir about his upcoming fight at UFC 91, what he thinks of this season of TUF and are MMA fighters paid enough. As always if you like the interview, feel free to get it out there. We always appreciate the help. Part one of the interviewis at the top of the page, part 2 below it.
