Mike Nelson & Chad Dukes: 2 of a kind, working on a full house. One of my favorite shows of all time, if not my favorite is Mystery Science Theater 3000. A completely unique concept with amazing timelessness, that ended up being one of the most beloved television programs in history. Charming, biting, quirky & hilarious. The f*cking show rules. One of the biggest reasons for that is the writer & host of MST3K: Mike Nelson. He has kept himself busy since the show went off the air by continuing making movies funny over at RiffTrax. As a web based endeavour, RiffTrax allows the same crew that brought you MST3K to improve not only older flicks, but new ones as well (If you haven’t downloaded the Rifftrax for “Crossroads” starring Brittney Spears, do so ASAP.)
Mike was good enough to join us to promote Reefer Madness which you can watch all over the Washington D.C area. See RiffTrax on the big screen as it was meant to be. Mike was very open & funny & a pleasure to talk to. I’ve wanted to interview him my entire radio career and it’s nice to have one’s expectations exceeded. Do your pal Ol’ Thad a solid & drop a line to Mike on twitter & let him know he didn’t waste his time speaking to us today.
Hello friendos! Brad Fukes here. I was just up in my office, shirtless, when I had epiphany. When it comes time to clean up this office, I end up throwing out a lot of shit that someone might want.
Instead of tossing all the schwag that has mounted up in here over the years & failed radio shows, I decided to switch things up. “Flip the script” as black people said 10 years ago and white people still say today.
Every day of the work week (until this place is clean), I will give away one piece of crap that someone might want that otherwise would have been pitched. It could be something from the old show, it could be something I stole from the prize closet. It could be really cool or it could suck ass. Everyone that is reading this is eligible. Here’s how to play…
Follow me on twitter. I’m easy to find, click HERE if you are not following me already. All you “I don’t do twitter” people are welcome too, you can just start up an account, try to win & use it for nothing else for all I care. I will tweet a picture of the Weekday Giveaway and tag it with #TCDWG The tenth person to respond wins the item. If no one responds, it’ll get trashed. All you have to do to enter is tell me you want it via tweet and tag your tweet with #TCDWG. If it’s not tagged it won’t win, because that’s how I will keep all participants organized.
Understand? Good! Have questions? Feel free to ask! I love you.
We appreciate those that show the Main Street Mafia respect. And we’re willing to back up our claim. For everyone that sends in a picture of themselves wearing a Main Street Mafia official shirt (one you bought off of us), you will be thanked in an upcoming episode of Monday Night Mafia by the TriForce of Violence. Personally. Not only will your duds look cool, but you’ll look cool when you show all your deadbeat friends that YOU roll with Book, Nash & Kurt & even those assholes in the WolfPack.
You can tweet us your picture over HERE or if you do the facebook thing you can post them on your page over HERE. Or you can do it the old fashion way by sending them to us at our stomping grounds:
The Main Street Mafia

You can’t be in the game without a uniform so take care of that first by clicking HERE. If you buy all 3, you get thanked 3 times. We will take submissions until May 5th. Get on it, Mafiamaniacs. Special thanks to James & the crew over at Colorworks for making all our kick ass shirts. If you do business with them, tell them The Main Street Mafia sent you…
We got a chance to catch up with D-Fish to talk with him about a number things. To be honest, we think it’s one of the best interviews to take place on the Fukerton. With everything Derek has been through both on and off the court, it made for an amazing and telling conversation. It was a real pleasure and hope the interview is as enjoyable to listen to as it was to conduct.
We here at the Fukerton just got a facebook message from one of our friendos named Ryan. He has donated a few of THESE for prizes at the first two Rodkast appearances. Visteon HD Jump Portable HD Radio Tuners. I know times are tight and everyone can’t afford to buy a new HD Radio to listen to the new show. Hopefully this will make it a little easier for a few people. We have two chances to hang out with the crew that does yer favorite radio show for free. LA Bar and Grill next Friday the 6th and Play N Trade in Herndon for the Modern Warfare 2 release party that following Monday.
You can view the details by clicking HERE and HERE. We will be giving away HD Radios at BOTH. That is very cool, thanks again to Ryan for helping us out. Everyone seems to be chipping in to making the RodKast bigger and better and it warms the cockles.
Max Brooks is a genius. Not only has he written two classic zombie best sellers, but he re-defined the genre. I credit him with a great deal of the revitalization of zombies in popular culture. Every day we see a new zombie novel, video game or movie. The Fukerton got the opportunity to discuss all of these things with Max. We also got an update on his new graphic novel and the World War Z movie. It was a thrill.
Click HERE to download the interview and click HERE to get Max’s new book. I’ve read it. It’s pretty fricken sweet.
We here at the fukerton are always looking for new material. We are willing to bribe YOU to get it. Do you have a link that is Fukerton worthy? A video? Can you get Big Boi to notice me on twitter? Can you get Kotaku to pick up on one of our interviews? We need you to do your part to contribute to this site. You give us something worth while? You will pick up a copy of Halo 3:ODST.
The Fukerton has done several interviews lately that are internet worthy. Get one of them picked up. We are always looking for good videos, links, and other horseshit. Leave us with something in the comments section. You got a little sister that is a gymnast? Let us teach her what the name if this site actually means. Any of that could net you a free video game. Good luck and may the best pervert win!!
Above is the trailer, below is the interview. If you like Angels with machine guns, you’ll like this movie and this interview. If you don’t, well then I question what you are doing on this site in the first place. Peter’s movie opens January 22nd, 2010.
Click HERE to download the interview for free and click HERE to check out Peter’s twitter account.
The Fukerton Interviews carry on. This man is the voice of the Grunt’s. He has written novels about Halo. And Joseph Staten KNOWS about ODST. It was the honor of The Fukerton to talk to a guy this high up in a company like Bungie. They are the are responsible for the flagship title of the Xbox empire. That’s nothing to scoff at.
We got a chance to ask Joseph about the new features of ODST, what it’s like working on Halo and what he can expect from Reach. The cannon for Halo is deep and potentially fertile for alternate story lines. That means that the Master Chief was only the beginning. I suggest you have yerself a listen.
Click HERE for the interview and click HERE for Bungie’s official site. It seems that Bungie has the gamers’ priorities in mind. Let’s hope that other game developers take a cue from the big dog.
BDK draws ire from many people, but I think we worked well together during this interview. Mark Neveldine is a good sort that loves action movies. Now he gets to make action movies. Kick ass action movies that manage set themselves apart from the rest of the oversaturated genre. In this interview, we had a chance to ask Mark about his new movie “Gamer.” We also discussed working with Leonidas himself and whether or not they busted his balls about “PS I love you.” We managed to find out about an amazing easter egg included in the flick, and how the directors were influenced by one of the greatest action films of all time. The subject of a Crank 3 was also brought up and hopefully you will crank when you hear the answer. I know I felt tempted.
To hear the interview in its entirety, click HERE. Make sure to check out Gamer this Friday and pick up Crank 2 on DVD.
