Quickest 9.26 of my life. I miss BOAD so much that it hurts. I have ben downloading podcasts from 18 months ago just to hear the best show in radio history (if you could get newer podcasts up I would be thrilled but thanks to bigoanddukesworld.com) and I am having a real hard time coming to grips with the idea that BOAD is no more. The Rodcasts help but it just isn’t the same to hear you guys once a week instead of five glorious hours a day. I will support Chad in any way possible but if BOAD could ever come back on a regular basis I would be the happiest guy on earth.

I’m from Houston, and this is the order of how I found you guys…first don and mike…they quit playing them in Houston and I waited for them to come back…Then I found them on podcast right before Don left…then there was only Mike…and Mike introduced me to you…God I loved your shows…still do…you had a chemistry no one can match…Mike was wonderful…but you had something I can’t explain…They have shit here in Houston…and now I have tried all kinds of podcasts but…but no one can replace Mike…NO ONE will ever replace you guys…felt like crying watching that video…felt like laughing too…k…I’m done…

I continue to listen to old podcasts because even listening to repeats is better than anything else on the air. You guys are gods among men. I know everyone says they still listen to podcasts as do I. But one set of podcasts I can’t listen to is the final week of boad. I replay the rest but I can never come to terms that the final week WAS the final week. Not to sound like a fan boy but I literally cried when it was over. I’ve never even cried for dead family members! There was no other show that connected with other than BOAD show. Someday talk radio will rise again and I’ll be there waiting for BOAD.

I travel for work…it\’s what I do. I was lucky enough one day to be driving from Chantilly all the way to Andrews AFB in my tiny ass Subaru looking for a decent radio station…and I found BOAD, talking about about everything that I like in life. I was only in the DC area for 5 months…but I streamed and podcasted as much as possible.
As a 25 year old who travels all the time…friends aren\’t on the agenda much…and I never was able to go to an event…I looked forward being able to listen to you guys every workday. I am in the Oscar opinion, that this is not the end of the BOAD, but simply a hiatus.

That vid made me bawl like a little girl. Since I am out of state I didn’t get to be there for the mafia vs predator premier so this was really cool to finally see. There is not now nor will there ever be another show like yours. It was the high point of my day to listen to you guys and now that I don’t have you to keep me company anymore is a hard thing to cope with. Tears are streaming from my face, as another royal female listener, I miss BOAD soooo much. The video is awesome, it just reconfirms why the show was the BEST of all talk radio. The chemistry you guys had was unbelievable. Listening to the show, I have always felt I was sitting at the bar and having drinks with my buddies. There was such an intimacy between BOAD and the listeners, you truly felt like a part of the fam. I would plan my daily activities around the show b/c I did not want to miss any part of it. It gave me so many insights into different topics that I truly became a better and more well rounded female.
I tried to listen to the new show, but the chemistry is not there, I feel as though I am really just listening to radio personalities on the radio and not my best friends. I feel as though the personal connections have been lost ….please come back!
Just let us know what we have to do to get the boys back home.

I usually take for granted the things in life i enjoy. I am glad i didnt do that with BOAD. I appreciated each episode and acknowledged how much it made my day happier. I really enjoy Chad’s new show. I can’t believe how much he has gotten Lavar to open up. But BOAD will always have a special place in my heart.

Never in my life had I ever heard a show that made you feel like you were listening to your best friends with out never actually being part of the adventure. You guys (to coin the best in what he did) are the best there is, the best there was, and the best that will ever will be. I stand here with my fellow animals in pain that you all are no longer around but through all of us you will never be forgotten. The new show is good but the chemistry that the crew had will never be matched. I will support chad and drab in the new show but I cannot wait until the day comes when I hear you guys back on the air again. Keep up the rodcasts as they remind us of the old show. I have the podcasts as well and will continue to listen to them until the ipod explodes. You were the reason I know many of us looked forward to the work week to hear the new shows. Finally got up the nerve to listen to the final Big O & Dukes podcast on Monday… I’m just so happy I was able to listen to the show for at least a year.
