Shocktillyoudrop.com has the new poster for the Underworld prequel. Clearly that is what is pictured above. The details are as follows:
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans opens in theaters on January 23rd to fill in the story gaps and explore what ignited the ongoing conflict between the vampire race and the Lycans seen in Len Wiseman’s Underworld and Underworld: Evolution.
That sounds great except the first two kind of licked balls and cast memebers are dropping out left and right from this franchise. Shouldn’t Werewolves fighting Vampires be cooler? I’ll check it out, but I’m not happy about it.

The word “Lycans” alone puts this movie in the “won’t see” category for me.

I actually liked the first two movies in this franchise (I may be a little alone on this one), but they were pretty good I thought. I also have a thing for Kate Beckinsale so that might be part of it too (her in tight leather (or was it pleather?) is always something to look at).
I see she is not in this one (but the “new” girl looks just like her), so that might take away from me wanting to see this one. I do like movies that have Werewolf’s and Vamps so I may still check it out. The big issue with this movie I have is that it goes back in time and kills the current storyline with the other three. They should have started with this one, not made it the third one.

if Kate Beckinsale is in it i’m on it. She’s a 12 on a 10 scale. I watched both of the others just oggling her in tight leather, high as balls the movies ain’t too bad.

I was trippin my balls off when I saw the first one so needless to say IT WAS AMAZING!!! The second one was pretty good but this sounds like it may be the best one yet. I really think if they are takin it back to when Victor was awake it’s going back hundred’s of years. Wonder what the weapons will be like. Swords and crossbows should be about it. Hell maybe even some large scale battles. Set this back when they didn’t really need to hide from people. The chicks should all be dressed silly as shit. Lots of violence and blood. I love the concept of Vampires, Werewolves or any other mystical type of monsters. I personally can’t wait to see it.

Ya i agree wit the last guy, underworld has always had kick-ass action, and a good enough story for the action to make sense and not too much story to make it gay. But I suppose underworld’s not the type of movie that lovers of “The Notebook” would enjoy. (Sorry chad i know “The notebook” is like your favorite movie of all time… u should get it on blue-ray)
